Tech Scholar

Project Description:

Avity worked with Tech Scholar to design and develop an incentivized educational web application now being used by Staples and other companies for staff training.  The system provides a centralized location for the dissemination of crucial product information to the company’s sales staff through the use of customized Product Training Modules (PTMs).  Each module takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and includes downloadable documentation and supplementary reference material.  Admins can track staff participation and users can track their overall performance and participation rankings within the company.  Since its 2008 launch, Avity has continued to work with Tech Scholar to add new features and reporting.

Size and Duration: Ongoing multi-year project with 4-6 person development team

Application Features: User accounts, different interfaces based off user roles, educational resources, testing/quiz components, authenticated integration with other vendor web systems, reporting interface, built on a custom CMS
